I’d rather not donate online. Is there another way?
Absolutely. You may call us at 1-877-571-7325 to give by VISA or Mastercard, or you can mail a cheque to: Shave for the Brave, YACC, Box 8171, St. John’s, NL, A1B 3M9. Please make cheques payable to Young Adult Cancer Canada.
I can’t make a donation. Is there another way I can support the cause?
Absolutely. Especially for the ladies. Not shaving? Be a Mane Mama and support us by raising awareness of the Shave for the Brave. Sign up and get a badge on the Mane Mama page.
Where does the money go?
All funds raised during the Shave for the Brave go directly toward supporting our programs for young adult cancer patients and survivors including: the YACC Online Community, Retreat Yourself, Survivor Conference, and We Get It - A Survivor Video. Donations allow us to offer these programs at no cost to the young adults that truly need them.

How and when will I receive my receipt?
Online donors will receive an automatically generated official tax receipt via email upon donating (this may happen immediately, or it may take a day or two).
All other donations will be processed, and receipts generated, in the weeks following the particular Shave event.
